Fantasy Mushroom house exploration

This project is experimentation of an idea I had since I was in Finland this last summer and finally decided to promote it from "sketchbook scribble" to a finished piece :)

Lore: Deep within the Eonwood Forest lives the Jotun: bipedal 8 foot tall humanoids who broke away from their war mongering ancestors centuries ago. They now reside in the colossal husks of decaying Eonwood trees. The fungi which blooms within these trunks are cultivated and used for building materials, clothing and magical foci. The houses are chiseled from the rock-hard dying Eonwood husks.
