The Impossible Flood

Due to one or several major meteor impacts, the rapid melting of an ice sheet 2 miles thick covering the majority of North America caused flooding on an absolutely catastrophic proportion. The sound of a wall of water thousands of feet high rushing through the valleys of Washington state must of been absolutely terrifying. I tried to capture this feeling of overwhelming dread and awe as an unstoppable body of freezing melt-water, ice and debris tore through the landscape.

The tale of an apocalyptic flood has been told for a millennia In most ancient myths and religions around the globe.

Mountains buckle and break at the force of this incomprehensible deluge.
